Tree Production Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic person with a natural horticultural flair to join our production team. The aim of the role is to drive our field grown tree and shrub and container grown specimen production numbers and quality forward to meet current and future demands. The manager will have overall responsibility for all field grown stock, plus the specimen and containerised tree run areas.

Reporting to the Operations Committee (sales, supply chain and finance), duties will include overseeing a small team carrying out all planting, husbandry, potting and lifting activities.

As an ideal candidate you will have extensive production experience (preferrably working with trees) and a good understanding of the horticultural industry. You will be self-motivated, efficient and methodical with very good leadership, organisational and communication skills. Good plant knowledge and great attention to detail are essential. A clean driving licence would also be beneficial.

Commercial Sales Executive

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic person with a natural sales ability to join our commercial sales team. You will be involved in the day-to-day processing of sales enquiries and estimates, their follow-up and successful conversion through to order. The ability to focus on delivering company targets and margins while maintaining the standards demanded by the client is key.

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will take responsibility for the account management of a selected range of clients, seeking out profitable new business and developing existing relationships within an agreed framework.

As an ideal candidate you will have extensive sales and customer service experience and a good understanding of the landscape supply market. You will be self-motivated, efficient and methodical with very good organisational, communication and IT skills. Good plant knowledge and great attention to detail are essential. A clean driving license will also be required.
