May;Common Hawthorn;Quickthorn. A rounded thorny tree with glossy dark green leaves. Clusters of fragrant white flowers; followed by glossy red fruit. Max Height 10m. Max Spread 8m. Flowers April to May. Fruits June. Full sun/partial shade. Hardy. Back-fill with soil mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser.
