Trochodendron aralioides (wheel tree) is a member of the Trochodendraceae family. This evergreen shrubs exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H3 and features a bark fragrance.

When fully mature, Trochodendron aralioides can reach an ultimate height of 4–8 metres and a spread of 2.5–4 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing,west–facing,north–facing,east–facing aspect and exposed,sheltered exposure. It thrives best in clay,loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun,partial shade position.
