Hosta 'Fire and Ice' (plantain lily 'Fire and Ice') is a member of the Asparagaceae family. This perennial exhibits a clump forming growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage.

When fully mature, Hosta 'Fire and Ice' can reach an ultimate height of 0.5–1 metres and a spread of 0.5–1 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers north–facing, east–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in clay, loam, sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun, partial shade position.
