Hemerocallis 'Stafford' (daylily 'Stafford') is a member of the Asphodelaceae family. This perennial exhibits a clump forming growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – very cold winter (-20 to -15ºc), and is hardy throughout the uk and northern europe. many plants grown in containers will be damaged unless given protection. .

When fully mature, Hemerocallis 'Stafford' can reach an ultimate height of 0.5–1 metres and a spread of 0.1–0.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers west–facing, south–facing aspect and exposed, sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk, clay, loam soil types and should be placed in a full sun position.
