Product description & Growing guide

Fuchsia 'Lady Thumb' (fuchsia 'Lady Thumb') is a member of the Onagraceae family. This deciduous shrub exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of half-hardy – unheated glasshouse/mild winter (-5 to 1ºc) and is hardy in coastal / mild areas except in hard winters and at risk from sudden (early) frosts. May be hardy elsewhere with wall shelter or good microclimate. Can survive with artificial winter protection.

When fully mature, Fuchsia 'Lady Thumb' can reach an ultimate height of 0.1–0.5 metres and a spread of 0.1–0.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing or west–facing or east–facing aspect and sheltered positions. It thrives best in chalk or clay or loam or sand soil types and should be placed in full sun or partial shade.
