Hypericum x hidcoteense 'Hidcote' (St John's wort 'Hidcote') is a member of the Hypericaceae family. This evergreen shrubs exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its semi evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H5 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Hypericum x hidcoteense 'Hidcote' can reach an ultimate height of 1–1.5 metres and a spread of 1–1.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing,east–facing,west–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk,clay,loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun,partial shade position.
