Clerodendrum trichotomum (harlequin glorybower) is a member of the Lamiaceae family. This deciduous shrubs exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H5 and features a flower fragrance.

When fully mature, Clerodendrum trichotomum can reach an ultimate height of 4–8 metres and a spread of 4–8 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk,clay,loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun,partial shade position.
