Lonicera japonica 'Halliana' (Hall's Japanese honeysuckle) is a member of the Caprifoliaceae family. This climber exhibits a climbing growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – cold winter (-15 to -10ºc), and is hardy through most of the uk even in severe winters. may not withstand open or exposed sites or central / northerly locations. many evergreens suffer foliage damage and plants in pots will be at increased risk. and features a flower fragrance.

When fully mature, Lonicera japonica 'Halliana' can reach an ultimate height of 4–8 metres and a spread of 1–1.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers north–facing, west–facing, south–facing, east–facing aspect and exposed, sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk, clay, loam, sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun, partial shade position.
