Ceanothus thyrsiflorus var. repens (creeping blue blossom) is a member of the Rhamnaceae family. This evergreen shrubs exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H4 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Ceanothus thyrsiflorus var. repens can reach an ultimate height of 1–1.5 metres and a spread of 2.5–4 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing,west–facing,east–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in clay,loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun position.
