Prunus 'Kanzan' (cherry 'Kanzan') is a member of the Rosaceae family. This tree is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – very cold winter (-20 to -15ºc), and is hardy throughout the uk and northern europe. many plants grown in containers will be damaged unless given protection. .

When fully mature, Prunus 'Kanzan' can reach an ultimate height of 8–12 metres and a spread of Wider than 8 metres.
