Sesleria autumnalis (autumn moor-grass) is a member of the Poaceae family. This grasses exhibits a tufted growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H7 and no significant fragrance.
When fully mature, Sesleria autumnalis can reach an ultimate height of 0.5–1 metres and a spread of 0.1–0.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers north–facing,south–facing,west–facing,east–facing aspect and exposed,sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk,clay,loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun,partial shade position.
