Product Description & Growing Guide

Carex pendula (pendulous sedge) is a member of the Cyperaceae family. This grasses exhibits a clump forming, tufted growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H6 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Carex pendula can reach an ultimate height of 1–1.5 metres and a spread of 0.5–1 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers east–facing,south–facing,west–facing aspect and exposed,sheltered exposure. It thrives best in clay,loam,chalk,sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun,partial shade position.
