Rodgersia pinnata (featherleaf rodgersia) is a member of the Saxifragaceae family. This perennials exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H6 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Rodgersia pinnata can reach an ultimate height of 1–1.5 metres and a spread of 1–1.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers north–facing,east–facing,south–facing,west–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in clay,loam soil types and should be placed in a full sun,partial shade position.
