Product description & Growing guide

Omphalodes cappadocica 'Cherry Ingram' (navelwort 'Cherry Ingram') is a member of the Boraginaceae family. This perennial exhibits a matforming growth habit and is characterized by its semi evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – cold winter (-15 to -10ºc) and is hardy through most of the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open or exposed sites or central / northerly locations. Many evergreens suffer foliage damage and plants in pots will be at increased risk.

When fully mature, Omphalodes cappadocica 'Cherry Ingram' can reach an ultimate height of 0.1–0.5 metres and a spread of 0.1–0.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers east–facing or west–facing aspect and sheltered positions. It thrives best in chalk or clay or loam or sand soil types and should be placed in partial shade.
