Parthenocissus quinquefolia (Virginia creeper) is a member of the Vitaceae family. This climbers exhibits a climbing growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H6 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Parthenocissus quinquefolia can reach an ultimate height of Over 12 metres and a spread of 4–8 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers west–facing,east–facing,south–facing,north–facing aspect and exposed,sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk,clay,loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a full shade,full sun,partial shade position.
