This perennial exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – very cold winter (-20 to -15ºc), and is hardy throughout the uk and northern europe. many plants grown in containers will be damaged unless given protection. .

When fully mature, Hydrangea arborescens STRONG ANNABELLE can reach an ultimate height of 1–1.5 metres and a spread of 1–1.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers north–facing, west–facing, south–facing, east–facing aspect and exposed, sheltered exposure.
