Aralia elata (angelica tree) is a member of the Araliaceae family. This deciduous shrubs exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H5 and no significant fragrance.
When fully mature, Aralia elata can reach an ultimate height of 8–12 metres and a spread of Wider than 8 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers west–facing,east–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a partial shade position.
