Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' (hydrangea 'Annabelle') is a member of the Hydrangeaceae family. This deciduous shrub exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – very cold winter (-20 to -15ºc) and is hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe. Many plants grown in containers will be damaged unless given protection.
When fully mature, Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' can reach an ultimate height of 1.5–2.5 metres and a spread of 1.5–2.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing or north–facing or west–facing or east–facing aspect and exposed or sheltered positions.
