Iris pseudacorus (yellow iris) is a member of the Iridaceae family. This perennial exhibits a clump forming growth habit and is characterised by its deciduous foliage.
When fully mature, Iris pseudacorus can reach an ultimate height of 1–1.5 m and a spread of 1–1.5 m. For optimal growth, it prefers an east–facing or south–facing aspect and an exposed or sheltered position. It thrives best in clay or loam soil types.
