Product Description & Growing Guide

Myrtus communis (common myrtle) is a member of the Myrtaceae family. This topiary exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H4 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Myrtus communis can reach an ultimate height of 1.5–2.5 metres and a spread of 1.5–2.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers west–facing,south–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk,clay,loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun position.
