Magnolia x soulangeana 'Lennei Alba' (saucer magnolia 'Lennei Alba') is a member of the Magnoliaceae family. This deciduous shrub exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – very cold winter (-20 to -15ºc) and is hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe. Many plants grown in containers will be damaged unless given protection.
When fully mature, Magnolia x soulangeana 'Lennei Alba' can reach an ultimate height of 4–8 metres and a spread of 4–8 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers an east–facing, south–facing, north–facing, or west–facing aspect and a sheltered position.
