Hemerocallis lilioasphodelus (yellow daylily) is a member of the Asphodelaceae family. This perennials exhibits a clump forming growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H6 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Hemerocallis lilioasphodelus can reach an ultimate height of 0.5–1 metres and a spread of 0.5–1 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers west–facing,south–facing aspect and exposed,sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk,clay,loam soil types and should be placed in a full sun position.
