Geranium macrorrhizum 'Spessart' (big-root cranesbill 'Spessart') is a member of the Geraniaceae family. This perennial exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its semi evergreen foliage. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing, north–facing, west–facing, east–facing aspect and exposed, sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk, clay, loam, sand soil types and should be placed in a full shade, full sun, partial shade position.
