Ophiopogon japonicus 'Minor' (mondo grass 'Minor') is a member of the Asparagaceae family. This grasses exhibits a clump forming growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H5 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Ophiopogon japonicus 'Minor' can reach an ultimate height of 0.1–0.5 metres and a spread of 0.1–0.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers east–facing,south–facing,west–facing aspect and exposed,sheltered exposure. It thrives best in clay,loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun,partial shade position.
