Ceratostigma plumbaginoides (hardy blue-flowered leadwort) is a member of the Plumbaginaceae family. This perennials exhibits a clump forming growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H5 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Ceratostigma plumbaginoides can reach an ultimate height of 0.1–0.5 metres and a spread of 0.1–0.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers east–facing,south–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk,clay,loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun position.
