Eryngium agavifolium (agave-leaved eryngo) is a member of the Apiaceae family. This perennials exhibits a clump forming growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H4 and no significant fragrance.
When fully mature, Eryngium agavifolium can reach an ultimate height of 1–1.5 metres and a spread of 0.5–1 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers east–facing,south–facing aspect and exposed,sheltered exposure. It thrives best in loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun position.
