Passiflora caerulea (blue passion flower) is a member of the Passifloraceae family. This climbers exhibits a climbing growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H4 and no significant fragrance.
When fully mature, Passiflora caerulea can reach an ultimate height of 8–12 metres and a spread of 2.5–4 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing,west–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk,loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun,partial shade position.
