Ageratina altissima 'Chocolate' (snakeroot 'Chocolate') is a member of the Asteraceae family. This perennials exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H5 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Ageratina altissima 'Chocolate' can reach an ultimate height of 0.5–1 metres and a spread of 0.5–1 metres.
