Calamagrostis x acutiflora 'Karl Foerster' (feather reed grass 'Karl Foerster') is a member of the Poaceae family. This grasse exhibits a tufted growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – very cold winter (-20 to -15ºc) and is hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe. Many plants grown in containers will be damaged unless given protection.
