Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' (hydrangea 'Annabelle') is a member of the Hydrangeaceae family. This deciduous shrub exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – very cold winter (-20 to -15ºc), and is hardy throughout the uk and northern europe. many plants grown in containers will be damaged unless given protection. .

When fully mature, Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' can reach an ultimate height of 1.5–2.5 metres and a spread of 1.5–2.5 metres.
