Malus tschonoskii (Chonosuki crab) is a member of the Rosaceae family. This trees exhibits a columnar upright growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H6 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Malus tschonoskii can reach an ultimate height of 8–12 metres and a spread of 4–8 metres.
