Medlar. A spreading tree with dark green leaves turning yellow-brown in autumn. White flowers followed by edible brown fruit; ripening after the first frosts in late autumn. Max Height 6m. Max Spread 8m. Flowers May to June. Fruits November. Full sun/partial shade. Hardy. Back-fill with soil mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser.
