Description

Winged Spindle. A dense shrub with dark green leaves turning brilliant red in autumn. Stems have corky wings. Almost round reddish purple fruit opening to orange seeds. Max Height 2m. Max Spread 3m. Flowers April to June. Full sun/partial shade. Hardy. Harmful if eaten. Back-fill with soil mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser.
