Description

Buckeye;Horse chestnut. A deciduous tree with mid-green leaves. Bears double white flowers with yellow marks. Max Height 25m. Max Spread 20m. Flowers May to June. Fruits July to September. Full sun/partial shade. Hardy. Harmful if eaten. Back-fill with soil mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser.
