David CH Austin is a rose breeder, specialist grower and author.  His first rose, the fragrant Constance Spry, was released in 1961.  Since then he has released nearly two hundred English Roses.  Few new flowers have caused such a stir in the horticultural world.

David Austin Roses was established in 1969 and remains a family business.  David JC Austin has worked alongside his father for over fifteen years.

Today the English Roses are grown in every rose-loving nation in the world, winning awards in many different countries.  The company has won fourteen gold medals for rose displays created for the Chelsea Flower Show.

Cultivating nearly 1,000 acres of prime land on Kent’s Romney Marsh, Grasslands Ltd is not only the South’s largest turf growing enterprise, but also one of the largest in the country.

Grasslands was formed in 1981 when farmer, Peter Baxter, astutely identified an opportunity to take advantage of his prime location amid what is widely considered to be the region’s premier turf growing area, and diversify from mainstream agriculture.  Following Peter’s recent retirement, his younger son Simon, who has worked with his father in the family business for the past 20 years, now manages the company, with the support of a full time team of 25.

Our quality turf graces the landscapes of some of the South’s most noteworthy addresses including the Tower of London and the Natural History Museum, Kew Gardens (2008), Bluewater and the new home of Eurostar, Ebbsfleet International Station (2007).  Furthermore, we provide turf for literally thousands of private gardens across the South East every single year.

Our offices are manned five days a week where our knowledgeable staff are ready to assist from 8am to 5pm.  We are also used to difficult sites where access during normal office hours is simply not possible and we will, in such circumstances, do our very best to schedule our deliveries to suit your requirements.

'Rosy Cheeks', a major new fundraising appeal to create many more children’s hospice gardens has now been launched.  The 'Rosy Cheeks’ Appeal aims to raise £750,000 over the next two years to build at least ten new gardens in children’s hospices around the country.

Greenfingers is run by a voluntary management committee including trustees and Chairman Matthew Wilson.

The garden projects are selected by the trustees on the basis of the specific need of each individual hospice, whilst considering fairness in the geographical spread of previous gardens already completed.  Due to Greenfingers' funding limitations, we only fully commit to the project once we are confident we can secure the funding required to complete the project, either from direct funds raised or from core funds.

The type of garden we agree to design will be led by the need of the hospice and the children and families they support.  The scope and size of the project will however be led by the funding capacity of the charity.

For over 17 years Green-tech has supplied landscape, grounds maintenance, forestry and agriculture markets with innovative products that protect, enhance and improve plants and their environment.
